Clarence John Domme passed away peacefully Thursday November 7, 2002. He was born January 1, 1917 to Aloysius and Elizabeth Domme in Topeka, Kansas. Clarence was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma, who he cared for 7 years; his parents; his son-in-law Lawrence Morelli; four brothers Albert, Vincent, Edward, and William and one sister Sophie Chiordi.¯Clarence is survived by three daughters, Rose Marie Morelli, Peggy Skertich and¯ husband Jim, and Francine Conty; six grandchildren, Rene Vigil and husband Joe, Cheryl Morelli, Debra Kish, Jim Skertich, Jean Marie Skertich, Judy Skertich; three great-grandchildren, Christina Marie McGee, Katherine Kish and Elliott Kish; three great-great grandchildren Alexandra, Mickayla, and Lauren McGee; three sisters, Sister Frances Cecilia of Leavenworth, Kansas, Margaret Thies of St. Louis, and Mary Ann Padgett and husband William of Topeka, Kansas; sisters-in-law Wilma Tusing and Kathryn (Peachie) Domme and many nieces and nephews.¯Clarence graduated from St. Mary's High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and liked the Yankees and Notre Dame football. He was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad for eighteen years and retired from Sandia Laboratories after 25 years. He was an active member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church for 52 years.¯Services will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11, 2002.¯Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 12, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. by Father Edward Domme, his nephew. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.¯Pallbearers will be Jim Skertich Sr., Jim Skertich Jr., Michael Chiordi, Thomas Domme, Curtis Domme and Daniel Domme.
