Virginia Myers, 77, a resident of Moriarty, NM, passed away Friday, November 8, 2002 after a long illness. She was born August 8, 1925, to Julus and Glenna (Elder) Surratt in Altus, OK. She was a member of the Senior Citizen's and a very loving person to those who knew her. Virginia will lie in state Tuesday, November 12, 2002, 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at the Harris-Hanlon Chapel in Moriarty. A graveside service will be held Tuesday November 12, 2002, 2:00 p.m. at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty with Father Anthony Martinez officiating.
