Obituary for Woodley

James (Jim) T. Woodley, 68, died at UNM Hospital on November 12, 2002 following a lengthy illness. James was born November 28, 1933 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Howard G. and Mary Elizabeth Woodley. He served in the USAF from 1951 to 1955. He married Evangeline (Vangy) Vialpando of Parkview, NM, in January of 1955. Jim is survived by his wife, Vangy of the family home. He is also survived by two children, son, Kenny and wife, Jamie and their four daughters, Rojan of Concord, CA., Jennifer, Brandy and Cassie of Albuquerque; daughter, Kandy and husband, Tom Berry and their two children, Kage and Brooke of Albuquerque. Last but not least, great-granddaughter, Alexus Rayne Woodley. We will all miss his compassion, humor and companionship. We wish him a safe journey and we will see him again. Memorial Services will be held at Risen Savior Catholic Church, 7701 Wyoming NE. A rosary will be recited Friday, November 15, 2002, at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 16, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UNMH Neuroscience ICU; 2211 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM. 87106. We would like to thank the staff and doctors at the Neuroscience ICU for the outstanding care and compassion given to our family during this difficult time.
