Daniel E. Atler, 48, a resident of Belen, passed away November 14, 2002. He is survived by his mother, Dina Atler of Belen; brother, Dominic of Albuquerque; sister, Darcel of Albuquerque; dear friend, Tom Duran; his paternal grandmother, Lillian Atler of Amarillo, TX; his aunts and uncles; six nieces, six nephews, and numerous friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather, his father, David and his brother, Dennis. Visitation for Daniel will be Friday, November 15, 2002, 5:00 p.m. until the time of the Rosary, which will be recited at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 16, 2002, 11:00 a.m., at the chapel of Mt. Calvary Cemetery, with Deacon Pilar Garcia, officiating. Interment will follow. Pallbearers will be his nephews, David, Damian and Desi Atler, Mark Sanchez, Carl Sanchez and his cousin, David Sanchez. Honorary pallbearer will be his nephew, Dennis Atler.
