Josefita Saiz, 78, went home to be with the Lord on November 12, 2002. She was born on September 13, 1924 in Sedillo, NM. Josefita is preceded in death by her husband, Elario Saiz; daughters, Mary Ann Baca and Debbie Barela. She is survived by her sons, Raymond Saiz, Elario Saiz and Avelino Saiz; daughters, Tillie Garcia and husband, Ermino, Filomena Duran and husband, Freddie and Jesusita Saiz and fiancé, Joseph Solano; and sister, Celia Jaramillo; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Josefita will be deeply missed by her loving family. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the San Antonio Church in Cedar Crest, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. also at the San Antonio Church. Interment will follow at the San Antonio Cemetery in Cedar Crest, NM. Pallbearers will be Daniel Gutierrez, Louie Saiz, Gerald Gonzalez, Joseph Garcia, Adam Duran and Aladin Jaramillo. Honorary Pallbearers will Michael Saiz and Lee Barela.
