Lou Ella Pate, 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, died Thursday, November 14, 2002. She is survived by her sons, Paul E. Pate and wife, Linda of Edgewood and Mark A. Pate and wife, Elizabeth of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Adriene Pate ,Clarence Lundstrom and Bryce A. Pate; sister, Marcia Morand and husband, Ralph of Helena, MT; and brother, Paul Whelan of Dallas, TX. Mrs. Pate was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Bessie Whelan. She was very active with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America. Services will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Arrangements by French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE
