Mrs. Phyllis Torres, 76, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on November 19, 2002. Mrs. Torres is survived by her daughter, Adella Garduno and husband, Raymond; two sons, Alonso and Albert Baca; three sisters, Carrie Parrish, Terrie Strogen and Becky Benavidez and husband, Edward; her caregiver, Lonnie Otero; special 1st cousin, Rafaelita Unale; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Torres was a member of the Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 23, 2002 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic, 1860 Griegos NW, at 11:00am by Father Ramon Aragon. The family will be receiving friends after 10:30am at the Church. Interment of cremains will follow at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan and Raymond Jr. Garduno, David and Angelo Baca, Edward Strader, Anthony Lopez, Kenneth Hall, Elija Sandoval, Jasmine Gomez, Vanessa Zamora, George and Alfonso Yribe, Marissa and Elizabeth Strader and Joseph Chavez.
