Obituary for Gabaldon

01/01/1966 - 11/21/2002Annette Sanchez Gabaldon, 36, a resident of Los Chavez, passed away at the University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona on Thursday, November 21, 2002 from complications of a bone marrow transplant she had received in May 2001. At the time of her early death, Annette was cancer-free. She was a 1992 graduate of UNM Dental Hygiene Program and later completed her Bachelors of Science Degree. Annette was employed as a hygienist in Albuquerque, Bosque Farms, and Belen. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome, NM. She is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, David Gabaldon; two sons, Ryan Gonzales and Aaron Gabaldon, all of the family home in Los Chavez; her parents, Rosalie and Proceso Sanchez, of Tome, NM; two sisters, Sharon Apodaca and husband, Frankie of San Antonio, TX and Jennifer Sanchez of Tome; three brothers, Gilbert Sanchez and wife, Juanita; Eddie Sanchez, both of Tome; and Paul Sanchez and wife, Yvette of Belen; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe S. Gabaldon and Emilia of Albuquerque; brother-in-law, John B. Gabaldon and wife, Joey of San Diego, CA; sisters-in-law, Mary Cecilia Sedillo of Dallas, TX; Theresa B. Whiteley and husband, Brett of San Diego; and Rebecca Gabaldon of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Annette's family would like to thank the doctors and staff at UMC in Tucson, especially Dr. Epner and Tracy Sturm, CFNP, and Dr. Clark and staff at New Mexico Oncology.
