Obituary for Botone

Edna Nanette (Nan) Botone proceeded onward into God's Glory early Friday morning at her home in Albuquerque with her loved ones in attendance after a long illness. Born April 12, 1950 to Dodie Christensen and George Otero Sr. Nan was a proud and enthusiastic employee of Southwest Airlines in Albuquerque. The loving wife of Barnie J. Botone and adoring mother/grandmother of daughter, Mylee and DJ Pittel and grandson, Justyce & granddaughter, Jaelee of Kansas City, MO; son, Saul Botone and Linda and granddaughters, Shantel and Shyanne of Albuquerque; and son, Billy Bob Botone of the home. Nan is missed and survived by the above named as well as brothers, George Otero, Jr. and wife, Susan of Santa Fe, Timmy Otero of Albuquerque, and Danny Otero and wife, Sonya of Clovis and maternal matriarch, Opal Wagner as well as several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews and other relatives, extended family and friends. She is preceded by maternal grandfather, William Wagner, paternal grandparents, Edna Hood Otero and Meliton Otero Sr. and Dad, Chris Christensen. Nan's lifelong friends, Kitty McAdams and Debbie Botone will continue to honor Nan's memory. Viewing will be held Monday November 25, 2002 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Fitzgerald and son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE. The funeral is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday November 26, 2002 at the Believer's Center of Albuquerque, 3020 Waterfall SE.
