Annie Leatus Coburn, 92, a recent resident of Albuquerque and a longtime resident of the Estancia Valley, died Sunday, November 24, 2002. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly sixty years, Travis M. Coburn, Sr. She is survived by her two sons, Travis M. Coburn Jr. and wife, Erlinda of Las Vegas, NM and J.D. Coburn and wife, Janet of Albuquerque; daughter, Cheryle Coburn of Albuquerque; six grandchildren, Brian Coburn, Melinda Coburn, Lesley Coburn, Michael Naylor, Tim Nichols and John Chavez; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret West of Ft. Sumner, NM and Lou Ellen Baber of Abilene, TX; brother, Gus Byars of Portales, NM; two sisters-in-law, Tressie Mae Glaze of Albuquerque and Lois Fornoff and husband, Fred of Los Lunas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 30, 2002, at 3:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Rev. Dave Blackwell officiating.
