Obituary for Fraser

Eli Octaviano Fraser, 68, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past sevem years, and formerly of Los Alamos, NM, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2002. Eli was born July 18, 1934 the son of William and Avelina Garcia Fraser in Valdez, New Mexico. He had worked for the Los Alamos Labs as a technician before retiring. Eli was a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, the Civitans, and the American Legion of Los Alamos. He is survived by three children, Julie Allen and husband, Scott of Jemez Springs, NM, Bernadette Trujillo of Albuquerque, and Amy Russo and husband, Mat of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Oclides De Fusco and husband, John and family, and Lucille Radaelli and husband, Chuck and family; and six grandchildren, Felicia, T.J., Craig, Drew, Nick, and Samantha. Visitaiton will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2002 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio Rancho. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 5, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. Pallbearers will be Scott Allen, T. J. Allen, Mat Russo, Drew Russo, Craig Moore, and John DeFusco. Honorary pallbearers will be Nick Russo, Chuck Radaelli, and other family and friends. In lieu of flowers, it has been suggested that contributions be made in Eli's name to the VistaCare Sandia Hospice, 4725 India School Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
