Mr. Raymond E. Sanchez, 58, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family on Tuesday, December 10, 2002. Mr. Sanchez is the beloved husband of 28 years to Mrs. Betty Sanchez. Mr. Sanchez is survived by two daughters, Nancy Vigil and Fiance Joe Cottrell and Valarie Sanchez; three sons, Steve Sanchez and wife, Sandra, James Sanchez and wife, Sabrina, James Jason Vigil and wife, Lissa; his beloved mother, Alice Vigil-Sanchez; four sisters, Mary Lane Padilla and husband, Jole, Josie Sanchez and husband, Mon, Jessie Sandoval, Jo Anna Castillo and husband, Carlos and Yvette Pedroncelli; three brothers, Martin Sanchez and wife, Debbie, David Sanchez and wife, Sandra and Louie Sanchez; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; mother-in-law, Mary Barreras; brother-in-law, Richard Barreras and wife, Laura; sister-in-law, Darlene Vallejos and husband, Ernie; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Sanchez is preceded in death by his father, Eduardo Sanchez; father-in-law, Jake Barreras; a daughter, Theresa Vigil; a sister, Vicki Sainz and two brothers, Johnny Sanchez and Michael Sanchez. Mr. Sanchez was a member of the Catholic Church . Raymond was known for a beautiful heart, willingness to help others in need and was a creative artist. Raymond will be missed deeply by his family. A visitation for Mr. Sanchez will be Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Doris Zamora. A final visitation will be Thursday morning from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Father Manuel Viera. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Steve Sanchez, James Sanchez, James Jason Vigil, RIchard Barreras, Ernie Vallejos and Noah Chavez. Honorary pallbearers will be Martin Sanchez, Mon Sanchez, Oscar Adame, Ernie Mascarenas and David Sanchez. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements. 243-7861
