Obituary for Wilson

Betty J. Clark Wilson, 78 and a resident of Truth or Consequences since 1976, passed away at Sierra Health Care Center on Monday, December 9, 2002. She was born on March 22, 1924 in Illinois, the daughter of James Earl and Ella Mae (Biglane) Blackman. Betty served in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps as a Registered Nurse and retired as owner-partner at the Damsite Recreation Area and Restaurant. Betty was active in the community she lived in and served as Past-President of the Chamber of Commerce; a member of the Chamiza Cowbells and was a member of the Republican Party. She is survived by her daughters, Kathi and husband, Ted Pape of TorC, NM, Mary and husband, Blaine Moore of Harrogate, TN; sons, Ed Clark of Las Vegas, NV; Donald E. and wife, Dotty Clark of Albuquerque, Gregory J. and wife, Billie Clark of Denver, Colo, Brian P. and wife, Young Clark of Chula Vista, Calif; her grandchildren, Christopher Pape, Brian Pape, Matthew Pape, Jennifer Mauldin, Marabeth Clark, Jonathan Clark, Lindsay Hauser, Alycia Moore; Adam Moore; Ryan Buis and Buffie Engler; by her great-grandchildren, Justin and Gavin Mauldin, Alicia and Julia Buis, Scott Abernathy and Megan Abernathy; by her sister, Ruth Farris of Orlando, FL and sisters-in-law, Marilyn and husband, Walt Kincaid of Albuquerque, NM and Peg Tassalo of Maryland. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael David Clark. A Memorial Celebration Service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of French Mortuary (TorC) with Rev. Jack Cain officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Betty Clark Wilson's memory can be sent to the Alzheimer's Association of New Mexico % 1100 S.
