Obituary for Corbett

Glen O. Corbett, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1959, died Sunday, December 8, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Wilma Corbett; daughters, Glenda Davis and husband, Craig, Gail Fisher and husband, Ken of Kuna, ID; son, Gary Corbett and wife, Elena Giacci; daughter, Marilyn Corbett; grandchildren, Robin and Tim Booth, Jennifer Steffens, Karen and Brian Whaley, Lisa and Arlis Ball, Leon Corbett, and Lora and Robert Taylor; great-grandchildren, Sara, Allie, Matt, Derrek, Spencer, Nathan, Andrew, Cody, Akalah, Aidan, and Dylan; and sister-in-law, Helen Moore. Glen was born in Huntington, WV on December 12, 1922. He served in the United States Navy in WWII in the Submarine Services as an electrician's mate. He worked for the Bendix Corporation and Sandia Laboratories, retiring in 1988. He was active in the Submarine Veterans of WWII and Bear Canyon Senior Citizens Center. He was an avid"HAM" Radio operator and enjoyed senior softball and poker with his friends. Cremation has taken place and interment of cremains will take place Friday, December 13, 2002, 10:00 a.m, at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 13, 2002, 3:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
