Obituary for Moser

Thomas Francis Moser our beloved grandpa, father, husband, son, brother, and friend passed away on December 11, 2002, with many loved ones by his side. Moe was a hard worker throughout his life. He was a special angel sent to touch many lives. Moe was a retired volunteer firefighter, whom never gave up the calling. Born in Ossining, New York, he became a Corrales Resident in the late 60's. He is survived by his nine grandchildren, Alixx, Adrianna, Tyler, Kishandra, Katie, Kwentin, Martina, Khalen, and Courtney; his four children, Cheryl Ann and Don Howard, Thomas J. Moser, Florence and Reuben Gallegos, Michael E. and Michelle Moser; his wife, Jean; mother, Ann; sister, Ann (Tootie); brothers, Billy and Eddy; nine nieces and nephews; and friends who number in the thousands. He proudly served in the Army in 1960, worked for Singer, Green Acres, Sun Valley Bark, and Yellow Freight where he Retired in 1999. Our Heavenly Father called to dad after a battle with leukemia which he fought until the very end. He filled our heart with love and happiness. Moe was and still is loved very much by so many of us. We will always have him by our side. He will be standing with the finest in Heaven today! All the angels are singing to have him with them! A Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2002, in the Chapel of Sunrise Funeral Options, 2400 Southern Blvd., in Rio Rancho at 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and at 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 16, 2002 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Rio Rancho. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Vista Care Hospice or the United Blood Services.
