Tamara"Tammy" Kay Wright Avritt, 54, a resident of Shingle Springs, CA, passed away in Cameron Park, CA on December 9, 2002. Tammy was born in East Chicago, Indiana the daughter of June and Larry Wright. Tammy had great love for children. She was a caregiver at the Blue Oak Elementary School Extended Day Program, for the before and after school care program. Christmas was her favorite time of the year. She collected Christmas ornaments, dolls, and American Indian pottery. She made and collected Teddy bears. Tammy will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Wright. Tammy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Bill Avritt; mother, June Boyd of Rio Rancho; brother, Roger Wright of Corrales; sisters, Barbara Lueras of Albuquerque, Kathy Lovell of White Rock, NM and Lotus Williams of Austin, TX. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 16, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Snowline Hospice, 670 Placerville Drive, Placerville, CA, 95667. Services were also held in Cameron Park, CA. Vista Verde Mortuary 4310 Sara Road 892-9920
