Lt. Colonel William E. Watts, age 89, died in Albuquerque, on Wednesday, December 18, 2002. He was a Regular Army paratrooper and came from ancestors who served in all of our Country¯s wars since it's beginning. Col. Watts is survived by his daughter, Mary W. Whiteman and husband, Daniel; and grandchildren, Matthew, Tess, and Rebecca Whiteman, all of Melbourne, Australia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Lindsay Watts. Services will be held Monday, December 23, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
