Betty Jane Claussen, 81, a resident of Albuquerque and former resident of Rio Rancho, died Wednesday, December 18, 2002. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Buril M. Claussen; son, Larry Claussen and wife, Kathleen, all of Albuquerque; daughter, Pam McCarty and husband, Brad Ball of Omaha, NE; grandson, Nathan Claussen of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Mindi McCarty of Minneapolis, MN and Jessi McCarty of Omaha, NE; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Monday, December 23, 2002, 10:00 a.m., at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy NE, with Pastor Larry Moss and Pastor Don Wilson officiating. Interment of cremains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
