Carmen D.T. Nowicki, 72, a resident of Albuquerque since 1951, loving mother, grandmother and friend, died Thursday, December 20, 2001. She is survived by her sons, Ted Nowicki of Rio Rancho and George Nowicki and wife, Michelle of Lancaster, CA; grandsons, George, Jr., John and Joe Nowicki; brother, Joseph Del Tedesco and wife, Beth of Washington Courthouse, OH; aunt, Sue Macino of Columbus, OH; and numerous other relatives and friends. Mrs. Nowicki was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ted Nowicki, Sr. in 1998. She graduated from Ohio State University and received further education at UNM and NM Highlands University. Mrs. Nowicki retired from APS teaching elementary for many years. Services will be held Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Wednesday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Arthritis Foundation of NM Juvenile Arthritis, 777 E.
