Joyce LaJean Munos, a Albuquerque resident since 1957, died Wednesday, December 19, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon LaJean DeMaria and husband, Louie of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; grandchildren, Jeffrey DeMaria and Lori Christine Lowery; great-granddaughter, Darci Shawn Lowery; sons, David Vernon Hallek of Bellevue, WA and Richard Glen Hallek and wife, Mary of Union, WA; sister, Connie Nowak of Albuquerque; and nephew, Don Nowak of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher F. Munos; parents, Harold Frost and Gladys Adams; sister, Betty Frost, and two brothers, Leslie R. Frost, David N. Frost, and brother-in-law, Don Nowak. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the AARP. Services were held Saturday, December 22, 2001, 3:30 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice Inpatient Unit, P.O. Box 26666, 87125-6666. Arrangements were by French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
