Betty L. Williams, age 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1951 died peacefully December 23, 2001. She is survived by daughter, Sharon L. Dec and husband, John of CA; son, Larry Williams and wife, Meg of NM; grandchildren, Mary Kate, Jared, Shannon and Mark. Betty was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, the Shamrock Extension Club and the Holy Ghost Senior Citizen Group. Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2001 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. also in Palm Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, December 29, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church 833 Arizona St. SE with Fr. Thomas Mayefske officiating. Burial will take place in Moline, KS. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is in charge of her arrangements.
