Obituary for Sells

Vivian L. Sells, age 88, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2001 in a local hospital. She was born July 14, 1913 in Kansas to the late Fred and Ruth (King) Davis. She is survived by her husband, George Sells of Albuquerque; two daughters, Vicki Lynn and her husband, Dennis Shinliver of Wellington, Kansas; Sandra McVey of Wellington, Kansas; one sister, Elizabeth Catherine Hensler of Larenceville, New Jersey; six grandchildren, Jean Luzer, David McVey, Dale McVey, Judy Ford, Greg Hammers, Stuart Shinliver; two great-grandchildren, Ty Ford and Todd Ford. She was an active member of the St. Paul's Methodist Church in Albuquerque for the past 30 years. She was a member of the Knife and Fork Club, loved to play golf and was a strong supporter of the Lobos. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2001 at 10:30 am in the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 9500 Constitution N.E. Rev. Tim Neustifter will officiate. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Sandia Hospice and Alzheimer's Association. The arrangements for Vivian L. Sells are under the direction of Strong-Thorne Mortuary.
