Raymon E. Massey, 54, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, September 11, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Ramoncita Naranjo-Massey; daughter, Alexandria Rae Massey; stepdaughter, Erica Carmen Romero, all of Albuquerque; sister, Elaine Garrett and husband, Mike of Jessieville, AR; nephews, Joe Garrett and wife, Melissa of St. Robert, MO and Steve Garrett and wife, Nancie of Jessieville, AR; many other family members; and friends. Mr. Massey served his country in the U.S. Army with the Army Corps of Engineers, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 14, 2001, at 10:00 a.m., at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 12500 Carmel NE, with Father Antonio Mondragon, Celebrant. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
