Cherrie Palmer, 54, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, September 11, 2001. She is survived by her father, John E. Palmer; brothers, Charles C. Garrett of Sugarland, TX, Michael A. Garrett and wife, Diane of Norwalk, CA and Carl D. Garrett and wife, Evelyn; granddaughter, Adrianna de Marie Jarvis; special friends, Ida Lee Jarvis, Anneke Kierstan Jarvis-Van Zelst, Rahime Benina Jarvis-Van Zelst, all of Albuquerque, Marta Gifford of Sugarland, TX, Donna Dean and Sylvia Martinez, both of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Lucille Ryder. Cherrie worked at as a paralegal for over 20 years at the Bernalillo County District Attorney's Office. Services will be held Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with District Court Judge Neil Candelaria officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In consideration for their tender, loving care, the family requests contributions be made to Presbyterian Hospice Homecare, P.O.
