David Otero April 5, 1934 - September 13, 2000 In Loving Memory of My own dear Dad!!! He was always quick to understand, He always lent a helping hand, He shared my problems and my play, And helped me many times a day, He believed in me, when others doubt. All that I am or hope to be, All that is"good" that happens to me, I owe to my Dad... and Mom would agree, For Dad picked her out and gave her to me. So here's to my Dad, and may I be...as loving, To others as he was to me...My dear Dad it's been one year today that you Went on your journey, it seems as just Yesterday. As roses are red and violets Are blue, only God knew that he needed you. I sit here hurt, afraid, mad and sad because I Don't have my special Dad!!! Now I know you Need to rest, God only takes the best.Now, looking back it gives me great joy, To reflect on such a wonderful man...
