Obituary for Landrith

Stanley T. Landrith, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2001. He was born in Sapulpa, OK, attended Kemper Military Institute and Virginia Military Institute. He enlisted in the Army and served in WWII and was held as a prisioner of war in Germany. After the war, he attended Oklahoma University. He moved to Albuquerque and then graduated from UNM in 1948. He was employed by Sandia National Labs for 34 years. He was an active member of the Palo Duro Senior Center where he was interested in stamps, computers and the French language classes. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Roberta Stimmel Landrith; daughters, Dana Landrith Goldberg and her husband, Steve, Kimberly Landrith Hegermiller and her husband, Don; grandchildren, Clare and Donald Hegermiller and Glynn and Max Goldberg. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Michaels and All Angels Episcopal Church, 601 Montano NW, Albuquerque on Thursday, September 13, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. The family suggest memorial donations be made to the University of NM Children's Hospital 2211 Lomas Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87131-5286 made in reference to Pete's Playground.
