Lester O. Wicke, age 90, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2001. He was born January 12, 1911 in Monroe, WI, the son of Lars and Lena Wicke. A long time resident of Albuquerque, he was retired from Sandia Corporation, and was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church and the Elks Club. He is survived by Hazel C. Wicke, his wife of 23 years; his children, Larry Wicke of Rohnert Park, CA, Marsha Kelley and husband, Bob, of Newark, CA, and Robert Warten Weiler and family of Monroe, WI; as well as Hazel's children, Donald Hartwick and family of Cleveland, OH, Ellen Harrison of Albuquerque, and David Hartwick of Albuquerque; also surviving is his sister, Agnes Taylor of Takoma Park, MD; and many grandchildren, relatives and friends. Private Services have been held. Sunrise Society is serving the family of Mr. Wicke. 891-8200.
