Mrs. Charlotte S. Perea died Thursday in Albuquerque at the age of 78. Mrs. Perea is survived by her son Nestor L. Perea and wife, Laura; sister, Delfina Chavez of California; grandchildren, Carlotta Perea and husband, Eric Swib, Linda Perea and Philip M. Perea; great-grandchildren, Robert, Sarah, Harold and Jauquline. Funeral Services for Mrs. Perea will be held on Tuesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be Paul (Bud) Leonard, Al Martinez, Philip M. Perea, David Carriere, Scott Pawlak, Don Ritz, Frank Franieca, and Orie Chavez. A Rosary for Mrs. Perea will be recited on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
