Troy Edwin Lease, 22, a resident of Albuquerque for most of his life, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2001. Troy was born March 11, 1978 the son of Timothy and Jacqueline Evans Lease in Denver, Colorado. He attended West Mesa High School and Manzano High School, he loved to jet ski, enjoyed all water sports, was an avid Denver Bronco fan, enjoyed 4X4 offroading, and collected sports cards. Troy was preceded in death by one uncle, Richard F. Lease in 1995. He is survived by his parents, Timothy and Jacqueline Lease of Albuquerque; paternal grandparents, Ed and Joline Lease of Albuquerque, and Norma Jean Lease of Albuquerque; maternal grandparents, Troy and June Evans of Valrico, FL; one brother, Randy Lease II and wife, Vicki; one sister, Jayme Lease; his favorite niece, Caitlin Lease, she was his favorite fan, of Albuquerque; uncle, Ed (Butch) Lease and family of Phoenix, AZ, uncle, Tom Lease and family of Albuquerque, aunt, Marsha Atchley and family of Gurley, AL, uncle, Steve Evans and family of Farmington, NM, uncle, M. Jerome Evans and family of Albuquerque, NM, aunt, Karen Evans of Valrico, FL. Visitation for Troy was held on Thursday, February 8, 2001 in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, with the Service on Friday, February 9, 2001 at the Kachina Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, with Bishop Jeff Payne officiating. The Entombment was in the Floral Garden Mausoleum in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Randy Lease, Ed Lease, Steve Evans, Jerome Evans, Tom Lease, and Butch Lease. Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Association, 4004 Carlisle Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107. Troy will be missed very much by his family and his many friends.
