Mr. Jerry C. Gibson, 62, a resident of Peralta, NM passed away on February 15, 2001. Mr. Gibson is the beloved husband of thirty seven years to Mrs. Marcella Gibson. He is also survived by two sons, Donny Gibson and David Gibson; three daughters, Margaret Baldwin, Elaine Rudolph and huband, Marc, Lori Long and husband, Dustin; one sister, Oleita Roy and husband, Jon; one brother, Roger Gibson and wife, Rita; three grandchildren, Maria, Aaron and Levi; one aunt, Leita Tiller of Oklahoma City; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Gibson was a member of the Catholic Church, served in the U.S. Army and was retired from G.E. Aircraft Division in June of 1999. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 4:00 p.m. by Tony and Lucy Tafoya. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated monday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Peralta, NM with final viewing at the church after 9:30 a.m. Father Albert Gallegos, celebrant. Graveside committal service will be Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Tafoya, Ray Tafoya, Art Marquez, Peter Marquez, David Ball, David Ball Jr. and Ted Pierson."Dad, you were loved not just for what you did but for who we are because of you."
