Clara Quintana Vigil passed into Heaven on June 27, 2001 surrounded by family at Northeastern Hospital in Las Vegas, NM. She was born to Damian Quintana and Abeda Quintana on June 5, 1905 and resided in Springer, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donaciano Vigil; her daughter, Margaret Wakefield; her granddaughter, Cynthia Wakefield; her grandson, Randy Kinard, her granddaughter, Carol Ann Burgasser; and her great-granddaughter, Cindy Burgasser. She is survived by her children, Josephine Kinard of San Francisco, Raymond Vigil and his wife, Margie of Albuquerque, Donaciano Vigil and his wife, Etsuko of Albuquerque, Dorothy Solano and her husband, Cipriano of Springer, Rose Johnston and her husband, Wayne of Albuquerque, Floyd Vigil and his wife, Hyocha of Albuquerque, Dale Vigil and his wife, Channing of Pacifica; and her son-in-law, Quennon Wakefield. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed by everyone. We love you and may you rest in peace. Funeral Services are being handled by Alderete-Pomeroy, 244 1st Street, Raton, NM. A Rosary will be held on Friday, June 29, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. and Funeral Services will be on Saturday, June 30. 2001 at noon. Both services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Springer, NM.
