Willard Parkins, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1992, died on Saturday, June 23, 2001. He is survived by his daughters, Suzann Kisiel and husband, Walter of Albuquerque and Kay Kovacs and husband, George of Irwin, PA; granddaughters, Karen Kovacs and Kimberly Kovacs of Philadelphia and Katherine Kisiel of Austin, TX; grandson, Kevin Kisiel of Ann Arbor, MI; his loving companion of nine years, Barbara Steinberg of Albuquerque; brothers, Don Parkins and wife, Shirley of Stuart, FL and Bud Parkins and wife, Betty of McMurray, PA; and sister, Thelma Hallam of Indiana. Willard was a very avid golfer who loved to play at Los Altos and had several hole-in-ones during his lifetime. He also enjoyed playing bridge and woodworking. Memorial Services will be held in Irwin, Pennsylvania at a later date. Mr. Parkins will be interred next to his devoted wife of 53 years, Jessie Parkins, in Pennsylvania.
