Richard C. McCracken, age 55, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away July 11, 2001. Richard is survived by his wife, Maureen (Dougherty) McCracken of Albuquerque, NM; two daughters, Jacqueline Magee of Las Vegas, NV, Dawn Pool of Albuquerque, NM; three sons, Paul Gonzales of Las Vegas, NV, Shawn Pool of Houston, TX, William McCracken of Las Vegas; two sisters, Nancy J. Stevens and Rickee A. McCracken both of Holliday, FL; five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dorothy McCracken. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp for 23 years as First Sergeant, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Specialist and he worked for Lawrence Livermore Nat'l Lab. Visitation will be Thursday July 12, 2001 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a rosary to follow in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE. A Mass of the Resurrection will be Friday July 13, 2001 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 11401 Indian School Rd NE. Entombment will follow at Sunset Mausoleum. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is in charge of his arrangements.
