Virgil Morgan, 67, a resident of Albuquerque since 1959, died Thursday, June 21, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Morgan of Albuquerque; and son, Roy K. Morgan of Albuquerque. Mr. Morgan was a member of Bear Canyon Golf Association and UNM Lobo Club. He was a principal at Inez Elementary, Acoma Elementary, Kirkland Elementary, and Sombra del Monte schools. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2001, 1:00 p.m., at St. Marks on the Mesa, 431 Richmond Pl NE, with Chuck Collins officiating. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Virgil's name to the American Cancer Society, Attn.
