Obituary for Hobson

Anderson "Andy" Hobson, 81, went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2001 after a long illness. He was surrounded by his family. He was born in Huntsville, Alabama and raised in Okolona, Mississippi. He served in the Marine Corp in World War II in the Pacific Theater. After the war, he married Sarah Moore and moved to Albuquerque where he lived until 1993. He owned Anderson Surgical Supply. He is survived by his wife, Leona Buskirk Anderson of Okolona, MS; his daughters, Ginger Grosjean and husband, David of Albuquerque; Deedie Capps and husband, David of Thornton, CO; five granddaughters, Melissa, Natalee and April Capps and Leisha and Sheila Dudley; and his sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Dulane Pannell. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah. Funeral Services were held in Okolona, MS. Graveside Services and Burial will be in Albuquerque on June 19, 2001 at 3:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Garden, Rev. Ken Moore officiating.
