Obituary for Aragon

Eli Saul Aragon was called to the Lord on Tuesday, July 31, 2001 at the young age of 27. He was a life long resident of Los Lunas. Eli served in the US Army for three years and was stationed in Korea for one year. He was employed by Par Electric as a Journeyman Lineman and belonged to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local #611. His passion was riding his Harley and he never missed an opportunity to go on a bike run. Eli was a well-known Pit Bull breeder and always knew the whereabouts of all his puppies in New Mexico and even in Arizona. He was a happy-go-lucky individual who was full of energy and his enthusiasm touched everyone around him. At the time of his death, Eli was working in Phoenix, Arizona. His maternal grandparents, Jose and Moraima Torres and his paternal grandparents, Samuel and Esther Aragon, preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy of Los Lunas, formally of Belen; his parents, Samuel and Lucille Aragon of Peralta; his three siblings, Rachel Elizabeth Aragon of Peralta; Victor and his wife, Tina of Los Lunas; Victoria Ceccacci and her husband, Vaughn of Fountain, Colorado; his three nieces, Samantha; Alixandria; Nicolena; and one nephew, Nicolas. He is also survived by his many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and his many friends. His father and mother-in-law, Gilbert and Jane Tafoya also survive him."Eli we will miss you very much." A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2001 in the Romero Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Victor Aragon, Buster Wade, Chase Gutierrez, Jesse Palacio, Vince Otero, Ismeal Baca, Sam Calderon, and Jim Baca. Honarary Pallbearers will be Vaughn Ceccacci and Phil Dibble. Romero Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
