Dean Pete A. Ortiz, 58, a resident of Albuquerque most of his life, died Monday, September 3, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Geneva Ortiz of Albuquerque; daughters, Robyn Larsen and husband, Mike and Gina Oakden, all of Salt Lake City, UT; son, Eric Ortiz and wife, Jody; 8 grandchildren; mother, Dorothy Ochoa; brother, Gilbert John Ortiz and family; sister, Marie Ochoa; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pete was a member of Queen of Heaven Parish. Cremation has taken place and a memorial rosary will be recited Friday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
