Obituary for Trudgeon

George W. Trudgeon, 69, a resident of Albuquerque since 1955, died Sunday, June 10, 2001. He is survived by his children, George W. Trudgeon III of San Antonio, TX and Kendra Lee Destea of Albuquerque; children, Katy Trudgeon, Tiffany Ross, Sharah Nicole Lapis, and KeAnna Destea; sister, Jean T. Williams and husband, David of Norman, OK; cousins, Bill and Yvonne Trudgeon of Edmond, OK, Jim Trudgeon of LaFallett, TN, Betty Trudgeon of Denver, CO, Prentice McKown of Denver, CO, Ann Ferguson of Pacific Palisades, CA, and Jim Wilson of Santa Monica, CA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Patty Joan Frow Trudgeon on December 14, 1975; father, George W. Trudgeon, Sr., on July 14, 1965, and mother, Catherine Camp Trudgeon on October 29, 1981. George was born August 17, 1931 in Purcell, OK. He attended Oklahoma University in Norman, OK. George married Patty Joan Frow on March 29, 1956. He served in the US Air Force in Japan and South Korea from 1951-1954. Services will be held Thursday, June 14, 2001, 10:30 a.m., at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3100 Morris NE, with Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
