Henry Joseph Robinson, Sr., 81, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away June 6, 2001. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1962. He then worked for the U.S. Postal Services, retiring in 1973. Henry loved fishing, dancing, horses, music, boating and traveling in his RV. Survivors include his sons, Henry Robinson, Jr. and Edward Robinson; daughters, Vanessa Sawyer and Penny Ann Gullette; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Robinson will be Tuesday, June 12, 2001, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2001, 10:30 a.m., at Carlisle Community Baptist Church, with Pastor Franklin Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
