Mary A. Goens, 56, a lifelong New Mexican, died Thursday, June 7, 2001. She is survived by her sons, Vincent Goens and Jesse Goens, both of Albuquerque; daughter, Kimberly Goens of Los Lunas; 2 grandchildren, Alex Morales and Kristen Goens; sisters, her identical twin, Margaret Vanderheide and husband, Bill and Roseanne Flores and husband, Ernest; and nieces and nephews. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed deeply by all who knew her. She was an assistant manager at the deli at the new Sandia Casino. It was her wish to be cremated and memorial services will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2001, 10:00 a.m., at Sandia Baptist Church, 9429 Constitution NE, with Rev. Mike Linville officiating.
