Obituary for Mead

Richard G. Mead, 58, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, September 27, 2001. He is survived by his son, Wesley Verne Mead and wife, Katheranne Esquibel-Mead of Albuquerque; daughter, Deborah RiAnn Mead of Albuquerque; his companion, Red; nephews, Jon Edwards and wife, Helen and their daughter, Lara, Antonio Martinez and wife, Lori; niece, Christine Ann Edwards, all of Phoenix, AZ; and the love of his life, Nancy H. Mead. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Wesley and Marian Margaret; and sister, Charlene Ann McCans. Mr. Mead received his Bachelor of Arts degree from New Mexico State University and was in accounting. He was also a builder, contractor and a truck driver. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Prayer Gathering was held Friday, October 5, 2001, at 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
