Kenneth E. Gurule, age 35, a resident of Bernalillo, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2001, following a job related accident. He was preceded in death by his father, Armando Gurule, Sr.; grandfathers, Maximo Lucero and Joaquin Gurule. He is survived by his loving wife, Laura; and his loving son, Jared Joseph; his mother, Christine Gurule; sister, Angela and husband, Rick Aragon; their two daughters, Marissa and Taylor; brother, Armando Gurule and fiancé, Brenda; grandmothers, Natividad Lucero and Adelaida (Lala) Gurule; father and mother-in-law, Larry and Lydia Montano; brothers-in-law, Larry Montano, Jr. and Leonard Montano and wife, Karla and daughter, Ashley Kaitlyn; and many close uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends. Rosary will be recited Sunday, October 7, 2001 at 7:00 p.m., at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 8, 2001, at 10:00 a.m., at Church of the Risen Savior. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery in Bernalillo. Pallbearers will be Leonard Montano, Anthony Baca, Gabriel Montano, Mario Gurule, Ron Padilla, and Ralph Armijo. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rex Lamkin, Michael Dominguez, Martin Montoya, Laurin Derosien Rueben Castillo, Ken Rivera and Larry Sandoval.
