Mrs. Maria Candelaria Flores, 101, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family on May 25, 2001. Mrs. Flores is the beloved mother of four daughters Corina Garcia and husband Conrado, Maria Sanchez and husband Delfin, Theresa Trujillo and Lydia Gonzales and husband Manuel; one son, Fred Flores Sr. and wife Rachel. She is also survived by one brother, Jose Gabaldon and wife Cruz; 46 grandchildren, 98 great grandchildren and 37 great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Manuel Flores; four daughters, Oralia Gallegos, Consuelo Gonzales, Patsy Flores and Elenor Moctezuma; three sons, Manuel Flores Jr., George Flores and Richard Flores. Mrs. Flores was a member of the catholic church. A Rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:00 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with visitation after 6:30. Joe Trujillo and Los Hermanos reciting. Mass Of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 9:00 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW , with final viewing at the church after 8:30. Father Manuel Viera, celebrant. Interment will follow at the Los Lentes Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Anthony Garcia, Delfin Sanchez, Dusty Gutierrez, Mike Trujillo, Manuel (Boggie) Flores, Manny Trujillo, George Trujillo and Mike Abeyta. Honorary will be, Steve Marquez, Ray Gutierrez, Issac Correa and Antonio Loya. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
