Obituary for Brentan

Ruth Sklovsky Maxon Brentan, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2001. Ruth graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1936. She lived in Los Angeles from 1954 until 1994 when she returned to Albuquerque. Ruth was the very best mother. To Ruth's many friends and family, she is now"fine". Ruth is survived by her daughters, Sandra James of Los Angeles, CA, and Paula Brentan of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Melissa Denison of Des Moines, IA and Matthew Gassner of Albuquerque; great grandson, Cullen Denison of Des Moines, IA, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Emanuel Brentan, who practiced in Albuquerque until his death in 1953, her sister, Edith Covich, and her brother, Ira Maxon. The family would like to thank all of the Ruth's caregivers, the staff at Delta Hospice and the Montebello. They would especially like to thank Nikki and Laverne for the special care and love they have given Ruth.
