Mr. Juan (Chunque) Lucero, 58, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on January 24, 2001. Mr. Lucero is survived by his wife, Maria (Liz) Lucero; one daughter, Diana Contreras and husband, Ray; two sons, John Lucero and Vicente Lucero; two step-sons, Lawrence Lovato and Gabriel Mondragon; grandchildren, John Lucero, Erika, Ray, Anthony and Matthew Contreras and Santiago Lucero; a sister, Dolores Herrera; three brothers, Parrick Alderete, Frankie Lucero and David Lucero; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; brothers and sisters in the Lord. A prayer service will be held Friday evening at seven at the Church On The Rock, 5300 2nd St. NW. The family will be excepting friends at the church after 6:30, Pastor Tony Apodaca. Private disposition has taken place. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
