Mr. Gilbert Gallegos, 45, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on January 24, 2001. Mr. Gallegos is survived by his mother, Gavina Gallegos; grandmother, Estelle DeLuna; a daughter, Gloria Marlene Gallegos; a son, Gilbert Samuel Gallegos; granddaughter, Natalie Duran; three sisters, Dorella Rael and husband, Eddie, Mollie Marquez and husband, Anthony; Mary Jean Chavez and husband, Jerry; two brothers, Alonzo Gallegos and wife, Petra, Ronald Gallegos and wife liz; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Gallegos is preceded in death by his father, Emiliano Gallegos. Mr Gallegos was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with visitation after 6:30 p.m., Valario and Trini Lucero, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with final visitation at the church after 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Santa Clara Cemetey. Pallbearers will be, Anthony Marquez, Jerry Chavez Sr., Jerry Chavez JR., Ramiro Gallegos, Emilio Gallegos and Florenio De Luna. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
