James I. Selelonis, 85, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 20 years, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2001. James was born January 11, 1916 the son of Paul and Constance Lazickas Selelonis in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He is married to Amelia (Krowicki). He had worked for the Board of Education before retiring. James was a member of the American Legion Post 118 and worked as a bartender for the Legion. James is survived by his wife Amelia of Rio Rancho; daughter, Jerelynn Loeber of Albuquerque; one brother, Paul Selelonis of Colorado; four Grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel fo Vista Verde Mortaury, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with Paul Gleason, Mdiv. officiating. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.
