George Mack Griffin, 85, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty Griffin; daughter, Cathy Thompson and husband, Steve Thompson; grandson, Gary Griffin, all of Albuquerque; and son, Dale Griffin and wife, Joyce Griffin of Carlsbad, NM. Cremation has taken place and private Memorial Graveside Services will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association New Mexico Chapter, 1330 San Pedro NE, Suite 205, Albuquerque, NM, 87110.
