Mrs. Adela H. Vasquez, 78, a resident of Los Lunas, NM passed away on August 16, 2001 with her loving family at her side. Mrs. Vasquez is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Mr. Jose Vasquez; ten daughters, Jane Quezada and husband, Noel, Elena Luna and husband, Freddie, Mary Huskey and husband, Ken, Cecilia Rubi and Jim Mitchem and Cecilia's ex-husband, Raymond Rubi; Paublita Saenz and husband, Elardio, Porfiria Sedillo and husband, Eugene, Rosemary Duran and husband, Martin, Jessie Washburn and husband, Bill, Sylvia Sedillo and husband, Ted, Margie Vasquez and Michael Aragon; four sons, Moises Vasquez and wife, Lilly, Cesar Vasquez, Albert Vasquez and Edwin Vasquez; 33 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Vasquez was preceded in death by her son, Ray Vasquez; her granddaughters, Donna Gonzales and Casandra Sedillo; her great-grandsons, Johnny Ray Garcia and Matthew Gene Garcia. Mrs. Vasquez was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 4:00 p.m. by Mrs. Martha Herrera. Final visitation will be Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, NM by Father Albert Gallegos. Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Sedillo, Fidel Garcia, Paul Luna, Raxmond Rubi Jr., Larry Saenz and Christopher Sedillo. Gabaldon Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
