Marie L. Gallegos, age 89, and a life long resident of Albuquerque died on Saturday, April 14, 2001. Mrs. Gallegos is survived by one daughter, Helen Lisle and her husband, Paul of Albuquerque; one son, Richard A. Mier Sr. and his wife, Deborah of Las Vegas, NV; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated, Friday, May 4, 2001 at 9:30 a.m. with the Reverend Father John Plans Celebrant. The family request memorials to Sandia Hospice. Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE is in charge of arrangements.
